A local musician had only a handful of gigs in 2020 due to the pandemic. He and his family were in a difficult financial position because the entertainment work was their only income. In 2020 and early 2021, Co-op Credit Union assisted the musician with small-dollar first- and second-draw Paycheck Protection Program loans, which served as their only income during that period and allowed them to pay their bills during this difficult time. They were extremely grateful the credit union was willing and able to help administer the PPP loans and be a financial resource they could depend on during uncertainty.
