Responsibilities

As an Employee Benefits Consultant, you'll be the face of our company, working closely with clients to assess their needs and tailor our innovative and competitive health plans to meet each client's unique circumstance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Learning, growing, helping clients, making a difference, and having fun.
• Engaging prospective clients through strategic outreach and networking.
• Building strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and ongoing support.
• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' employee benefit needs.
• Recommending competitive insurance plans, including life, health, dental, and ancillary coverage.
• Collaborating with our team to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications | Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Appropriate insurance licenses to sell medical, dental, vision, and ancillary employee benefit plans
• Thorough knowledge of InterLutions’ products, services, and philosophy
• Ability to speak to groups, lead meetings, and conduct educational sessions
• Ability to assess, propose, sell, and close deals for financial business solutions
• Ability to leverage applicable technologies, systems, and applications
• Ability to set clear goals, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems logically
• Ability to collaborate with others towards common goals and objectives
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• Maintain and enhance applicable

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education and Experience

This position requires 5+ years of experience in health insurance with an emphasis on sales and marketing of various insurance products; prior financial experience, B2B sales, and a college degree are preferred.
