Summary

Taylor Credit Union is looking for a loan officer to receive, review, and process loan applications for members. If selected, you would be expected to process applications for consumer, real estate and business loans.

Responsibilities

Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
Evaluate credit worthiness, employment, income and determine debt ratios
Communicate with members to request or provide information, and resolve their requests and questions Inform members about Taylor Credit Union loan policies and services
Assess member needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
Actively cross-sell Taylor Credit Union products and services
Go the “extra mile” to build relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year work experience as a loan officer - preferred
Proficient with computers and banking applications/software
Solid understanding of lending products and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Member satisfaction orientation and sales competencies A
bility to work in a goal oriented environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) - encouraged
