Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise daily operations of credit union employees, fostering effective employee relations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations set by the National Credit Union Administration and other agencies.
  • Keep the President informed of credit union conditions, operations, and influencing factors.
  • Process and balance daily postings, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies in transactions.
  • Assist members with EFT/ACH issues and manage related transactions, including stop payments and government reclamations.
  • Oversee the Plastic Cards Department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff while ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Conduct ongoing training programs to support employee development and ensure understanding of credit union goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations and improve operations.
  • Monitor credit union audit activities, develop corrective action procedures, and stay updated on regulatory trends. 

Qualifications

  • Secondary Education degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in payments, digital banking, or financial services.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Expertise in payment systems, digital wallets, mobile payments, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.
