Summary | NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Manager, Virtual Tellers. Provides expedient and efficient assistance to member inquiries received primarily through the Virtual Teller Assist feature of our Interactive Teller Machines. Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds via the Interactive Teller Workstation with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Assists members with basic deposit, withdrawal, and troubleshooting issues with digital technologies to improve the member experience.
Responsibilities | PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assists with member inquiries received through Landmark’s Interactive Teller Machines.
- Answers members’ inquiries received through online channels and troubleshoots/ resolves technical issues that occur within online services.
- Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient virtual teller experience and other related services to members and ITM users resulting in a balanced cashbox daily.
- Performs transactions for members per online requests.
- Educates members on the use of Online Banking in order to reduce the number of support emails and calls. Activates members for online services.
- Cross-sells other credit union products and services to members.
- Performs other duties to support the Digital & Online Experience Teams as assigned including, but not limited to timely and professional answers to members’ email, web, and chat questions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications | REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum two years of prior customer service experience, preferably within financial services. Teller experience a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to utilize digital, online and software technologies to enhance the customer or member experience.
- Familiarity with financial industry digital products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
- Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
