Summary

This position will report directly to the CEO and will oversee and direct all major operations of the credit union. You will play a crucial role in the success and management of our organization, focusing on loan growth, membership growth, operations, compliance, and day-to-day activities. This position is designed to prepare you for long-term success while providing leadership and insight in all facets of our operations. ** 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement strategies to achieve our strategic goals.
• Oversee operations, loans, and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence while identifying areas for refinement or improvement.
• Develop and implement a team approach to achieve member service excellence, while identifying high-potential employees for leadership roles who are passionate about the credit union movement .
• Represent the credit union in the community to raise awareness and advocate for the credit union movement .
• Review and manage financial performance, identifying additional revenue opportunities.
• Ensure the credit union’s financial performance and sustainability.
• Provide insight and oversight of technology, while exploring innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and member satisfaction. 

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in the financial industry, preferably within a credit union, along with knowledge of operations, lending, and team development.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and financial management.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team while fostering teamwork
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of individuals, including Board Members, regulators, members, employees, and others. .
• Capacity to multitask and meet deadlines.
