A credit union's success starts at the top, which means it starts with the Board. As Volunteer leaders, you are the group that sets the strategic direction for the entire organization. And if your credit union chooses the wrong strategies, it could diminish organizational success and sustainability long into the future. To ensure the board is your credit union's greatest asset, it is necessary to focus on recruitment, development, and education that you will need to build a leadership group that can take your credit union to the next level. During this session, Board/Volunteers will learn tactics for optimizing the Board's makeup and leadership by strengthening recruitment, development, and education processes.

Tom Sakash - Finding Your Niche
From credit unions large to small, one of the most certain paths to sustained success is by defining a clearly defined niche and reshaping your credit union's organizational strategy around that untapped market. During this session you will hear case studies of credit unions from across the asset spectrum who have grown and thrived because they stand out to a specific group of people, focus on right-sized service delivery that makes sense for that group, and offer a product and service set that meets the financial needs of those members and potential members. Key questions answered during this session: How to go about finding that niche that will set you apart; How to have the conversation with your Board about making the leap to exploring a new niche; and how to optimize the products you offer to the specific group you aim to serve.

James Robert Lay - Banking on Change: Achieving Exponential Growth in the Age of AI
The biggest obstacle to future growth in the Age of AI is not the abundance of new technologies coming online but a lack of understanding about how leaders can guide themselves and their teams through the complexities of exponential change. That's because change of any kind, let alone exponential change, can feel hard, scary, and painful. But it does not have to be this way for you and your event attendees when they learn how to unlock human transformation by celebrating their progress to achieve exponential growth in the Age of AI. In this interactive keynote session, your attendees will: Immediately increase their confidence by gaining clarity into all of the changes they've experienced on their own journey of growth; Learn how to apply ancient wisdom in a modern world to master the most important technology in the Age of AI; Leave with a strategic growth framework that includes tools they can immediately apply to guide their teams and organizations through the complexities of exponential change with courage.
