Chippewa Valley Chapter Trivia Night Supports WCULAF

On Tuesday, Activists from the Chippewa Valley Chapter participated in a virtual trivia night in support of the Wisconsin Credit Union Legislative Action Fund (WCULAF).

The donations from Activists enhance The Movement's impact and ability to support credit union friendly candidates.

Supporting The Movement by hosting events such as a virtual trivia night are funs ways for Activists to engage in political advocacy and support our allies. Please contact Tom Harrington if you'd like to host a trivia night to benefit WCULAF, or visit The League's Grassroots Action Center for instructions to make a credit card contribution to WCULAF.

2022 State GAC - January 26

Please join us for the 2022 State Government Affairs Conference, in person!

State GAC is credit unions’ chance to showcase the impact of Wisconsin’s credit unions and advocate for the interests of 3.5 million Wisconsin member-owners.

Strong attendance shows that credit unions are engaged and motivated on issues that matter to us, most notably our credit union statute modernization bill.

Ask Your Legislator to Support Our Top Legislative Priority!

Even if you can’t make it to the State GAC – you can elevate Activists’ efforts with an email to your legislators today! Ensure your legislator is on board and understands AB 478 / SB 451, the credit union specific bill, is a top priority ahead of the January meetings.

Legislators need to know this bill is important to their constituents – YOU – especially in light of opposition from the Wisconsin Bankers Association. Go to the Grassroots Action Center on The League's website to send an pre-written, editable letter to ask for their support.

Boost Your Political Advocacy Before Year End!

With TWO WEEKS left in 2021, consider whether a one time donation to credit unions’ Political Advocacy Accounts can bump you up to the next recognition level! Importantly, any size donation will strengthen our impact and ability to support credit union friendly candidates.

Unsure how much you have given this year? Reach out to Tom.
