We recently had a non-member reach out about a debt consolidation loan, as the individual had some credit card debt they wanted to eliminate. Upon reviewing their credit report, we notified the individual of several items that were sent to collections that they were unaware existed. We were able to approve a loan to not only consolidate their open debts, but also satisfy their outstanding collections. Many banks would not consider granting the loan due to the existence of those collections, but we were willing to give the member the loan AND help clear up those items.
