Fixing Incorrect Charges

A Member had a vehicle loan from another financial institution. When they decided to pay off their vehicle, the $5,500 transaction was mistakenly processed three times deducting $16,500 out of their account rather than $5,500. The Member shared that they had been working this large bank for nearly a month to get the error corrected, but the issue hadn’t been resolved. The Member then called Royal to explain what was happening. Our Member Service Specialist was able to walk them through the process of submitting a written statement of unauthorized debit. Because of Royal’s quick action, the family was able to get their money quickly deposited back into their account. The family shared that they were going through some challenging times and that Royal’s ability to help relieved a tremendous amount of stress.
