A member came to Landmark Credit Union for their home equity line of credit and during the process ran into a few hurdles that Landmark associates were able to help navigate. One hurdle was a potential tax levy due date that was quickly approaching. The Landmark loan officer contacted the Wisconsin Department of Revenue with the member to explain the situation and request an extension, which was granted. If this due date had passed, the member could have faced potential late fees and additional interest. Even with the extension, the due date was still quickly approaching. Landmark’s loan processing team worked to process her loan quickly and schedule a same day appointment for her loan closing to ensure the loan proceeds would be available in time. The member was relieved to get her loan in time and for the efforts of Landmark’s associates.
