A member called to check her account balance shortly after we had paid out dividends for our Member Loyalty Cash program. Our team member explained that, because she took advantage of various products and services the credit union has to offer, she qualified for Member Loyalty Cash and a lump sum had been deposited into her account as a thank you for her membership. The member began to cry, explaining that she currently had a health issue that required medication she didn’t think she could afford, but—with the receipt of the dividend—she would now be able to cover the medication. While it may seem small, her story was an excellent reminder of the financial impact our Member Loyalty Cash program can have on our members and reinforces our mission.
