Our movement’s CO-OP Shared Branching and CO-OP ATM networks embrace a parallel philosophy, with a focus on credit unions helping credit unions. We are a perfect example of the fundamental principle of cooperation among cooperatives.
Nearly 2,000 credit unions collaborate to serve their 65 million members at 5,500 CO-OP Shared Branches. Participating credit unions serve members of other credit unions at some or all of their branches. Ours is the second largest branch network among all US financial institutions and the only one with locations in all 50 states – a true testament to the power of cooperation.Our CO-OP ATM Network provides 30,000 ATMs across the nation and in 10 other countries. Members of participating credit unions have convenient, surcharge-free access to ATM services.
