- 80% of all Wisconsin credit unions (CUs) actively participated in League training events.
- Over 400 attendees joined the League’s Annual Convention & Expo.
- More than 50 hours of dedicated education and training were provided for CU Young Professionals.
- 2,300+ CU professionals engaged in training sessions across all levels of expertise.
Advocacy
- 83% of registered voters support the corporate tax exemption for credit unions.
- Over 2,900 contacts were made with state and federal lawmakers on key issues such as statute modernization, financial literacy, elder financial abuse, and more.
- Lobbyists dedicated 200+ hours advocating on behalf of credit unions.
- Contributions to credit union political advocacy exceeded $155,000.
- 94% of state and federal candidates supported by the League’s PAC during the 2023-2024 cycle won their elections.
- The League supported 4 credit union bills, all of which were successfully signed into law.
Compliance
- The League handled over 1,100 calls from credit unions seeking compliance support through its hotline.
- 59 updates were made to 155 active iReleases to keep members informed of the latest regulations.
- 44 credit unions received guidance through the HR Legal Line on employment law issues.
- 89 issues of the Compliance Courier were published, helping credit unions stay updated.
- 10 updated forms and 1 new form were released for credit union operations.
Development
- REACH has facilitated $145 million in loans over nine years, partnering with over 50 credit unions.
- $24.7 million has been saved by members through the Saver’s Sweepstakes program.
- More than 100 hours were dedicated to strategic and succession planning for credit unions.
- Over 700 attendees participated in financial well-being programs.
